Special Branch Tree Nursery is a volunteer run conservation project, raising native Sussex Downland trees & hedgerow shrubs from seeds of known local origin.
Flourishing since 1997, this unique project supplies around 30 species of provenance plants to a variety of local organisations and individuals including community groups, nature reserves, councils, schools and allotment holders. Every Friday, volunteers take care of the plants and maintain the nursery and its wildlife habitats.
