The Physic Garden Project is an organic medicinal herb garden, founded by Lisa-marie Davies, Herbalist and Naturopath, in spring 2010.
It has a glorious gently sloping, south-facing position in the heart of Stanmer Organics that has being transformed into a series of landscaped medicinal gardens.
We are growing an abundance of medicinal plants which support humans and wildlife alike.
We provide workshops in all aspects of herbal medicine and offer talks, tours of the garden and kids activities including eco-educational days, all in a garden setting.
If you would like to book a tailor-made day at the Physic Garden Project, do get in touch, we would love to hear from you.
We have regular volunteer days (every Friday 10am-3pm) open to all. We also have occasional weekenders and can tailor make team-building days for businesses and groups.
Volunteers are warmly invited to get involved in digging, planting and harvesting, whilst enjoying the wonderful surroundings and learning about plant medicine. Contact Lisa for details.
The project aims include:
•Providing education in herbal medicine and naturopathy
• Generating an organic seed bank from the medicinal herbs grown on site
• Safeguarding precious habitat for our wildlife
