The Physic Garden Project is an organic medicinal herb garden, founded by Lisa-marie Davies, Herbalist and Naturopath, in spring 2010.
It has a glorious gently sloping, south-facing position in the heart of Stanmer Organics which has been transformed into a working herb garden.
We are growing an abundance of medicinal plants, which support humans and wildlife alike.
We provide workshops in all aspects of herbal medicine and offer talks, tours of the garden and kids activities including outdoor-educational days, all in a garden setting.
Please email: email@example.com to receive workshop and event info.
If you would like to book a tailor-made day at the Physic Garden Project, do get in touch, we would love to hear from you.
We have regular volunteer days:
Second Saturday of every month 11-3.30
Volunteers are warmly invited to get involved in all aspects of tending the garden including digging, planting and harvesting, whilst enjoying the wonderful surroundings and being active in the park . Contact Lisa for details.
We can also tailor make team-building days for businesses and groups.
The project aims include:
•Providing education in herbal medicine and naturopathy
• Generating an organic seed bank from the medicinal herbs grown on site
• Safeguarding precious habitat for our wildlife
