Volunteering

If you are interested in volunteering with any Stanmer Organics projects please find relevant opportunities and contacts below:

Hearts and Flowers We grow organic flowers and other plants for floral decoration.  We welcome volunteers with practical skills as well as those with an interest in organic growing.  We offer weekly volunteering during the summer and occasional days during the winter, please see our website news for details.

Fork And Dig It welcomes people of all ages and abilities. We practice and teach sustainable agriculture with a sensitive approach towards land management, biodiversity and the environment. Our approach is informed by both traditional organic farming techniques, permaculture and the no-dig method. Volunteering can involve land preparation, sowing, planting, harvesting, composting etc. All work is supervised. Bring enthusiasm, sensible clothes, some lunch to share and enjoy a healthy active day with us learning how to grow food.

Our Volunteer days: Fridays all year round from 10-3:00pm

  1. I would be interested in volunteering at stanmer – I am retired and worked with Robert Hill- Snook one day a week for over 7 years in the Royal Pavilion Gardens – I am more an enthusiast than a horticulturist but love being involved
Do you think you could use my services ?

  2. Hello
I would be very interested in volunteering. The only days I am unavailable are Wednesdays and Fridays. (Shame about the Fridays!)
I’m particularly interested in flowers and gaining plant knowledge, but I’m open to volunteering in any area.

  3. Hi there! I’m wondering if you guys are still running the woodcarving workshop or anything similar, me and my boyfriend would LOVE to join you(:

    Thanks a ton
